To Manchester Central, sustainability isn’t just about protecting the natural environment – it’s about social, economic, and cultural impacts too. We were one of the first major venues to commit to the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge, an industry-wide initiative by the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) aimed at achieving net zero carbon by 2050 at the latest.
Our strategic ambition is to ensure sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and our sustainability strategy, “Our Central Future” aims to deliver initiatives that enhance the sustainability of the venue and the services we provide to all our stakeholders.
