About You
By making a booking through the Vehicle Booking System you warrant that:
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract; and
you are at least 18 years of age
Booking Process
At the time of booking, you will confirm the size of the vehicle being used will be allocated a loading/unloading time slot.
Where you make a booking through the Vehicle Booking System, a booking confirmation (“Booking Confirmation”) shall be sent to you by email upon acceptance of that booking, and this will include your Pass. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please contact Voyage Control’s support team.
If you are using the Voyage Control application, on arrival at Manchester Central Convention Complex please use the application to present your Pass. Alternatively, please ensure that you print your Pass prior to arrival.
On arrival at Manchester Central Convention Complex, the driver of the vehicle will be required to report to the traffic team at the site entrance to verify the vehicle using the Pass. Once the Pass has been verified and once space is available at the relevant loading area, the vehicle will be released from the traffic management area. At this point, the vehicle will be electronically “checked in” and the loading/unloading time will commence. You must present your Pass when you are asked to do so by the traffic marshalling team. If you fail to present your Pass, you may be refused entry or be required to use the ‘on the day’ process which will lead to delays or admission being refused.
As soon as any loading/unloading is complete the vehicle needs to leave the loading area and the Manchester Central Convention Complex site.
Bookings are non-transferable and are only valid for the vehicle and the specific dates specified in the Booking Confirmation.
Overstays and Late arrivals
If you arrive late for your allocated arrival time, then Manchester Central Convention Complex reserve the right to issue a reasonable financial penalty.
If you experience problems at the relevant loading bay that are out of your control and that prevent you from loading/unloading within your allocated time, you must bring this to the immediate attention of a Manchester Central Convention Complex traffic marshal. Due consideration will then be given to the circumstances, and an extension of time may be granted. This can only be done on the day and at the time and cannot be done retrospectively.
All directions the Traffic marshals must be followed and vehicles not stopped in unauthorised areas.
