To mark the start of #GreenGB week, our Executive Sous Chef, John Bailey, gave us a behind-the-scenes look at our Urban Cultivator! This 'indoor garden' allows our chefs to grow their own lettuces, herbs and edible flowers and supports the venue's pledge to source locally where possible.
Itโs great that weโre able to serve our clients fresh produce that has been picked just moments earlier. Having an Urban Cultivator really does benefit ourselves as chefs, our clients, and crucially the environment, so itโs a win-win for everyone. Now that weโve become expert gardeners as well as chefs I'm looking forward to exploring what else we can grow in the near future.
