“The UK Drum Show is a two-day event, dedicated wholly to the art of drumming and percussion. Whether new to drumming or a well-versed professional, the action-packed event provides drumming enthusiasts with the opportunity to hear and learn from some of the most respected artists and educators from around the world.
“Attracting more than 1,000 visitors across the two days, our event consists of various elements including a busy exhibition, a number of high-profile masterclasses and a live drumming experience showcasing some of the very best players in the world.
“Manchester Central perfectly accommodated all aspects of our event - Exchange Hall and the Exchange Breakout Rooms provided us with the flexibility to host all sessions within proximity to one another and the neighbouring 804-seat Exchange Auditorium allowed us to create an impressive backdrop for our guests to experience live performances from huge drum legends.
“Due to the nature of the event, our exhibitors transport a lot of equipment to and from the venue, which has proved a challenge in previous venues. However, Manchester Central’s central location, great transport links and ground floor level entrances and exits, allowed for extremely easy access and our exhibitors found the whole experience to be fantastic.
“The venue’s experienced team of professionals were a massive support - from the word go they were prepared to work with us and not against us. One of the lifts was unavailable for a short period of time during load-in; however, the team immediately informed us and created an alternative route that was just as easy to access, and the event continued without a hitch. The Manchester Team completely exceeded my expectations and we can’t wait to work with them again in 2018!”
