The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is the UK’s trade association for insurance brokers. The annual event brings together thousands of insurance professionals to gain valuable insights, network and do business.
Given the size and scale of the event, Manchester Central’s 23,000sqm of versatile space and easily accessible city centre location make it the perfect venue to host the largest broking event in the UK.
The two-day event utilises the full venue and consists of a large exhibition in Central Hall including more than 225 exhibitors alongside a jam-packed keynote and seminar agenda featuring more than 50 expert speakers.
The vast space, coupled with the extensive expertise of the venue team, also allow the event organisers maximum flexibility when planning their event each year, something that the organising team have found invaluable.
Following an extremely busy opening day at the 2022 event, where thousands of delegates arrived at the same time to print their entry badge, the event organising team worked with Manchester Central to tweak the event footprint for 2023 and provide a solution where delegates who needed to print their badges entered the venue via a different entrance to those who didn’t: easing congestion and creating a much smoother registration and entry experience.
